Nishida Seiki Co.,Ltd Receives the Environmental Award in the Business Category at the 23rd Aizuwakamatsu City Environmental Awards

Aizuwakamatsu City holds the “Aizuwakamatsu City Environmental Awards” to recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses actively engaged in environmental efforts. Nishida Seiki Co.,Ltd was honored with the Environmental Award in the business category at the 23rd Aizuwakamatsu City Environmental Awards for the 2024 fiscal year.

Examples of qualifying activities include energy-saving initiatives like power conservation in schools and offices, eco-driving in companies, and efforts to preserve local ecosystems, conduct environmental surveys, or participate in beautification activities.

Nishida Seiki Co.,Ltd was recognized for its regular internal efforts, such as saving electricity and sorting waste, as well as for its installation of solar power systems, which are projected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 130 tons annually. The company is also working towards ISO 14001 certification, and these environmental contributions earned it the award in the business category.
